“When we first opened Maha Rose to the public in 2013 William Brisson was one the few people who found us early on. He felt instantly like family. It was an exciting time for us really opening up the space. William explained the work he did, something like feng shui, but different, a little more esoteric way of working with the field of a space. He offered to work on Maha Rose. We discovered through muscle testing that from her years before being an apartment and then Maha Rose, she thought she was still the box factory she was originally built as. Spaces do this. They can also hold all the memory and impressions of what happened in them before the current occupants arrived. We had our intentions to create Maha Rose. Our space was still resonating as decades of a factory, holding all of those years of stories and impressions that were not aligning with our intentions for our healing space. William did some of the early doula-ing of her into a full birth. We got her from believing she was 35% a healing center up to 100% knowing that she was now a healing center. The rest is history.

Fast forward to 2015, we bought the schoolhouse next door to our house upstate for Maha Rose North. When I first walked into the house I thought, “There is no way this house can be transformed into a place of healing”. It had some creepy vibes. The house had originally been the schoolhouse for the neighborhood in the early 1900s, a time when people weren’t so kind to children. The previous owner was into some dark stuff also. It took two days to clear everything from that house and the land below it. We did the work together and now it radiates as a healing home away from home.

The work he does is part wizard, part spiritual guide, all heart, humble and wise. He has been practicing for decades and he is the one I call when things feel off at Maha Rose or in my own home. Spaces need cleaning and clearing periodically. The same way they need a deep cleanse physically, they sometimes need a deep cleanse energetically. Anyone I know who wants to open a healing center I recommend William to them. Anyone I know moving into a new home, I recommend William.
